Abstract
Examples of the use of Bayesian Models will be presented in the study of threatened species to contribute to its management and conservation. Examples include: analysis of the movement of released Iguana specimens from the Mona Island (Cyclura cornuta stejnegeri), estimate the frequency and length of latency periods for species of orchids of the gender Caladenia and introduction of prior information in the estimation of the frequency of rare or unobserved events.
