Description |
The study of Euclidean geometry with emphasis on the proof of propositions and theorems. Axioms of incidence, of distance, of interposition, of separation of the plane, concerning angles, concerning the construction of segments. The Parallel postulate. Axioms and basic theorems related to the congruence and similarity of triangles. Elementary properties of quadrilaterals. Ruler and compass constructions. Axioms and theorems concerning the areas of polygonal regions. |
